This is River Bowen standing by her namesake. She loves the outdoors, long walks, swimming,

truck rides in her dad’s truck, chewing on toys, and cuddling her mom after a long day at work.

There is not much River doesn't like, save for not being able to make physical contact with those

she loves. German Short-haired Pointers are known as Velcro dogs! 

 

And she has funny habits that add to her charm. She stomps her feet when she is upset with you,

just like a toddler, her teeth chatter with excitement while she waits for a toy to be thrown, and

she loves to bring in the mail—and bring you your socks!
