Board Buzz

Welcome to Gale Hyatt, our newest NTRA Board member and a familiar face to many of you from her work on the ARC, Activities Committee and the New Town neighborhood PORCH initiative. Gale has been elected to serve as the Board's Vice President for the balance of this year.

The NTRA Board has been working diligently on many maintenance and oversight issues - weekly landscape inspections, recommended remedial landscape work, Village Walk sinkhole, Olive Drive sinkholes, monitoring Shirley Park completion, and follow-up on violations (especially those with legal involvement).

One thing the Board has been focused on is the Zoysia plugs along Center Street. Work was planned in the common areas, but the landscaper included some homeowner yards by mistake. The Board is now working on corrective action for this situation.
