Message from the Chair

Happy July 4th……..

This is the first message being sent out on our new website!  In the past, the Town Crier only reported monthly….but now messages can be posted at any time.  So be sure you check the website frequently.  There are 407 people registered, including residential homeowners, tenants, and residents in the commercial association condos.

The Landscape survey was completed on June 15th.  Approximately 30% of residents responded.  The results of the survey, along with recommendations from the committee and community, will be discussed at the August 15th RAB meeting, 6:30PM at Legacy Hall.

Along with the survey, the RAB will be discussing the updated Reserve Study for the NTRA, including the new community of Shirley Park.  Also, the study will report on the exterior maintenance program for the Village Walk community, which is nearing completion of the town home construction

The last pool party was such a huge success that the activities committee decided to add an additional pool party on July 17th, 6:00 -8:30PM.  Look for an email blast with further information about this party.

The Board of Directors approved the RAB request to form a Transition Committee to review and verify NTRA documentation prior to turnover on April 1, 2020.

The alleyways in Chelsea Green and Savannah Square were seal coated as part of our reserve maintenance program.

FYI…. Pool attendance is up this year. Positive comments have been received about the addition of new landscaping.     Funny comment, though. We received several comments last year about the outdoor drinking fountain not working.  Well…..the fountain has been replaced.  But……now we're getting complaints that the water is too COLD to drink.   Can't win……..

Keep informed by reading information on our website.
