Message from the RAB Chair, August 2019
Posted on Aug 1st, 2019

This is the second message directly on our new website.  There are several items of interest to the residents of New Town.

Bill Voliva, one of our busiest and most valuable member of the RAB and other committees,  has resigned.  The RAB and all of the committees have big shoes to fill with his leaving for personal reasons.  We all thank Bill for his many years of service and wish him well.

With Bill leaving, Jim Bowers has stepped up as chair of the Landscaping Advisory Committee. Jim lives in Village Walk .

Also, the RAB has welcomed another resident from Village Walk, Angela Lesnett.   Angela has already attended her first RAB meeting…so she “hit the ground running.”  Now Village Walk residents have two members to talk with if they have concerns.

The Activities Committee has found out what the community wants to do in the summer….POOL PARTIES!!!  The second pool party on July 17 was a huge success.  It was held in the evening hours so working residents could better attend.  Way to go to Activities Committee.

There will be a RAB meeting on August 15 at 6:30 in Legacy Hall.  The results of the Landscape survey will be discussed by the Landscape Advisory Committee.  The Reserve Study results will be discussed also.  Of importance will be how this relates to residents of Village Walk.

Reminder: We have had good success with residents (428) signing up to our new website. Remind your neighbors to sign up. It's better to get your information from our website than second hand.   We will be sending out postcards to the remaining residents about signing up.
